Wait, Ask, Greet Safely (WAGS)
Designed as a complementary service program to PAL and PIC, Therapy Partners created WAGS, Wait Ask Greet Safely in 2009. This program provides comprehensive instruction to elementary age children. Therapy Teams instruct children how to approach an unfamiliar dog, recognize the warning signs of an unfriendly dog and learn how animals are used to help people. Handlers demonstrate the proper calm, non-threatening greeting using the acronym WAGS - Wait, Ask, Greet Safely.
