Our Mission

Serving the Tennessee Valley by providing Animal Assisted Therapy with registered teams of handlers and animals.  Our volunteers work in healthcare, education, and military facilities.

Making Connections

There’s a connection that is undeniable between people and animals.

And research is proving this true. We breathe more calmly, our blood pressure lowers, and we smile a little bit more in the presence of a kind animal. Animal assisted therapy builds relational connections and softens stressful seasons of life for:

  • People receiving cancer treatment

  • Children struggling to read

  • Those in long-term care facilities

  • Dementia patients

  • Veterans with post traumatic stress disorder

  • Those suffering with anxiety

  • And many more …

Hope is a remarkable gift for us to share, and it’s our privilege to have served our communities for over 25 years!

“All of us, at some time or other, need help. Whether we’re giving or receiving help, each one of us has something valuable to bring to this world. That’s one of the things that connects us as neighbors - In our own way, each one of us is a giver and a receiver.”

-Fred Rogers
