Single session class that can be taken multiple times from 8 to 14 weeks of age
The most important time for puppy socialization is the first 3 months of life. Early and adequate socialization is highly recommended by the American Society of Veterinary Behaviorists, promotes confidence and adaptability, and can go a long way in preventing fear-based behavioral issues in adult dogs. Come learn the do’s and don’t of safe interactions and the benefits of positive reinforcement while having fun with your puppy!
In this class your puppy will:
* Explore new sights, sounds and smells
* Meet new people
* Play with other puppies in a controlled, supervised environment
You will learn about:
* Why socialization matters and how to do it safely
* Positive reinforcement
* Body language
* What healthy play looks like
Puppies need to have had their first round of vaccinations and a deworming prior to attending class. Each class will meet for one hour and costs $25. You can sign up for multiple weeks.
